Indulge in the exquisite allure of Utkarsha, our handloom borderless Kanchipuram Pure Silk Saree in a captivating deep pink hue. Woven from pure mulberry silk and adorned with intricate silver and gold zari work, this saree epitomizes timeless elegance. Delve into the rich narrative woven into its intricate patterns, adding depth to its beauty. Ideal for occasions when you seek to embody contemporary grace with a touch of tradition.

Saree body:
The saree's body unfolds like a breathtaking canvas, adorned with a mesmerizing tapestry of intricate "geometric shapes" that pay homage to the rich heritage of ethnic art. Each motif, meticulously crafted with threads of gold zari, creates a stunning array of "diamond patterns", accentuated by delicate "hook motifs" and nestled within are "eight-pointed star motifs" woven in silver zari, symbolizing spirituality and auspiciousness, lending an aura of grace.

In addition to the diamond motifs, the body showcases a myriad of other geometric patterns, including the revered "Tree of Life" symbolizing the celestial journey from Earth to Heaven, "petite diamonds", and "squares enclosing diamond patterns". The seamless integration of these diverse motifs, varying in size and shape, speaks volumes about the intellectual prowess and unwavering dedication of the artisans behind this labor-intensive masterpiece.

Saree Border:
Although borderless, this saree features an emerald green selvedge interspersed with gold zari, adding a striking contrast to the deep pink drape.

Saree Pallu: The scintillating pallu in emerald green, embellished with gold zari motifs, drapes elegantly over your shoulder. It features recurrent bands adorned with a delightful sequence of royal, retro, and vintage-inspired "Paisley motifs intermingled with floral design" representing a blend of cultural heritage and artistic expression.(Paisley motifs, characterized by their distinctive teardrop shape, hold rich cultural and historical significance. Originating from Persia (modern-day Iran) and later popularized in India, these motifs are traditionally associated with fertility, growth, and eternity, symbolizing the convergence of the floral (representing life) and the cosmic (representing the universe). The divided field of the pallu features multiple rows of "Kodi Visiri Pattern", while a mesmerizing "three-layer floral bud salangi" borders the entire pattern, enhancing its overall allure.

Saree blouse:
Complementing the saree is a "thread work pure silk blouse" in emerald green, embellished with "thilagam buttas (teardrop motifs)" in gold zari in a half-repeat pattern, offering a true complement to the saree's overall elegance.

COTTON CARE

• It is advisable to only dry-clean our Sarees. Use mild detergent to hand wash Cotton Sarees.

WASH, DRY & IRON PURE SILK THE RIGHT WAY

• For first three washes, dry cleaning is advisable for silk fabrics.
• If ever silk is washed in water, ensure it is washed in soft lukewarm water using a good neutral soap only.
• Squeeze lightly by hand to remove water after washing.
• Always dry the silk in shade only on a flat surface instead of hanging.
• Use low to medium heat while ironing.
• Always iron silk on the reverse side.
• Never spray water to dampen silk before ironing as it may cause water spots on the fabric.
• Do not wash the stains with water, instead give it for dry cleaning.

STORE PURE SILKS THE RIGHT WAY

• Store your Silk in a clean and dry environment using Cotton bags; avoid plastic covers.
• Avoid direct contact with wood.
• Protect silk from insects, dust, excessive moisture and light.
• Periodically (every 3-6 months) expose silks to fresh air and store after reversing the folds.
• Wrap Silk Sarees in cotton cloth or brown paper to avoid blackening of zari.
• Instead of Naphthalene balls, keep silica gel sachets in storage racks.
