Indulge in the ethereal spelndour of Chitrita, our handloom magnum opus, an exquisite Palum Pazhamum Kattam Kanchipuram Pure Silk Saree that breathes life into heritage, honours artistry, and awakens the eternal magnetism of Indian tradition. Woven from the finest mulberry silk and pure zari, this triadic symphony of colour envelopes you in a timeless embrace, letting history rest gently on your skin. Wherever you grace a grand wedding, vibrant festival, or an intimate cultural soirée, Chitrita doesn’t just adorn you; it crowns you with an aura of majestic elegance and soul-stirring allure.

Saree body:
Run your fingers across its vivid landscape of "Palum Pazhamum checks" and you can almost hear the heartbeat of bygone Madras checks. The beloved kattam springs to life in striking triadic hues of vibrant orange, lush green, and gleaming yellow, blending in poetic pairings of yellow - orange, yellow - green, and green - orange. Each enclosed check, framed in pure zari, stands as a jewel of devotion, a tiny shrine to generations of master weavers. Every inch of this body carries whispers of precision and prayer, a reminder that true craftsmanship is not just created, it is consecrated.

Saree Border:
Along its edges, a majestic "6.5-inch Pillayar Moggu Korvai borders", blooms in a serene rose garnet hue. Crafted meticulously through the revered Kai Korvai technique, these triangular gopura motifs rise like miniature temple towers that feel ancient, dignified, and quietly divine. Slender pure zari stripes lend a stately radiance, turning the border into a sacred architecture of its own, one that wraps your ensemble in an aura of temple stillness and regal refinement.

Saree Pallu:
As you move, the pallu unfurls in a luminous cascade, a waterfall of molten gold shimmering with enchanting "muthuseer lines in mesmerizing variations". The divided field, woven with intricate "Seepu Reku patterns", dances gracefully with every sway, catching light in an intimate choreography of shimmer and shadow. Pre-made tassels brush gently against you, soft, luxurious, and endlessly delightful, completing the saree with an irresistible touch of finesse.

Saree blouse:
Accompanying this masterpiece is a matching unstitched blouse in the same rose garnet shade, touched gently with a pure zari border that carries the saree’s aura of divine splendour. It waits like a poised canvas, inviting you to shape your own intimate expression of grace.

COTTON CARE

• It is advisable to only dry-clean our Sarees. Use mild detergent to hand wash Cotton Sarees.

WASH, DRY & IRON PURE SILK THE RIGHT WAY

• For first three washes, dry cleaning is advisable for silk fabrics.
• If ever silk is washed in water, ensure it is washed in soft lukewarm water using a good neutral soap only.
• Squeeze lightly by hand to remove water after washing.
• Always dry the silk in shade only on a flat surface instead of hanging.
• Use low to medium heat while ironing.
• Always iron silk on the reverse side.
• Never spray water to dampen silk before ironing as it may cause water spots on the fabric.
• Do not wash the stains with water, instead give it for dry cleaning.

STORE PURE SILKS THE RIGHT WAY

• Store your Silk in a clean and dry environment using Cotton bags; avoid plastic covers.
• Avoid direct contact with wood.
• Protect silk from insects, dust, excessive moisture and light.
• Periodically (every 3-6 months) expose silks to fresh air and store after reversing the folds.
• Wrap Silk Sarees in cotton cloth or brown paper to avoid blackening of zari.
• Instead of Naphthalene balls, keep silica gel sachets in storage racks.
