Wrap yourself in the divine grace of Shrikari, our handloom Kanchipuram Pure Silk Saree,  where every thread whispers of tradition, devotion, and timeless artistry. In the serene glow of Elakai Pacha - the soft, meditative green of cardamom pods, this Korvai creation unfolds like a sacred hymn woven in silk and pure zari. A creation destined not just to be draped, but to be cherished, passed on, and remembered in the stories of generations.

The Enchanting Udal (Saree Body):
The body of the saree blooms with beautifully rendered petite "Mayil–Kamalam buttas", woven in pure zari using a half-repeat pattern. Each shimmering motif glitters delicately against the serene Elakai Pacha silk, creating an elegant interplay of light, texture, and tradition.

The Majestic Karai (Saree Borders):
The "7-inch Ner Korvai retta pett borders" on both edges in deep navy blue and rich maroon adds a regal frame to the saree. Two magnificent bands adorn the border - each woven with pure zari ornate "Annapakshi and Gaja Yazhi motifs" placed in alternating rhythm. These mythic figures are divided by "chevron pillars and enclosed within timeless kayaru lines", lending the border a whimsical, mystical aura. The top edge is beautifully flanked by delicate "leaf anklets", while the bottom is finished with a mesmerizing navy blue selvedge, bringing graceful balance to the design.

The Resplendent Mundhani / Thalaippu (Saree Pallu):
The scintillating navy blue pallu, richly woven in pure zari, is the crown jewel of this ensemble. It features three recurring ornamental bands: "A band of horizontally aligned leaping horse motifs paired with chakram motifs, divided with chevrons". "A second band with sizeable paisley–kamalam motifs, striking in their beauty". "A third band showcasing Annapakshi motifs and chakra motifs, separated by ornate pillars embellished with pirai madam buttas". These grand bands are "bordered by petite paisley strips" and further "distinguished by graceful neli and thandavalam lines". The divided field of the pallu dazzles like a golden garden, intricately patterned with "Meenakari floral buttas featuring navy-blue disc florets arranged in a diamond lattice". Finally, the entire layout is elegantly enclosed with "paisley–leaf anklets", completing the enchanting tapestry.

The Elegant Blouse:
Paired with a plain navy-blue unstitched blouse featuring matching "retta pett borders", it provides the perfect complement to the grandeur of the drape.

COTTON CARE

• It is advisable to only dry-clean our Sarees. Use mild detergent to hand wash Cotton Sarees.

WASH, DRY & IRON PURE SILK THE RIGHT WAY

• For first three washes, dry cleaning is advisable for silk fabrics.
• If ever silk is washed in water, ensure it is washed in soft lukewarm water using a good neutral soap only.
• Squeeze lightly by hand to remove water after washing.
• Always dry the silk in shade only on a flat surface instead of hanging.
• Use low to medium heat while ironing.
• Always iron silk on the reverse side.
• Never spray water to dampen silk before ironing as it may cause water spots on the fabric.
• Do not wash the stains with water, instead give it for dry cleaning.

STORE PURE SILKS THE RIGHT WAY

• Store your Silk in a clean and dry environment using Cotton bags; avoid plastic covers.
• Avoid direct contact with wood.
• Protect silk from insects, dust, excessive moisture and light.
• Periodically (every 3-6 months) expose silks to fresh air and store after reversing the folds.
• Wrap Silk Sarees in cotton cloth or brown paper to avoid blackening of zari.
• Instead of Naphthalene balls, keep silica gel sachets in storage racks.
