Drape yourself in Sauravi, our handloom Kanchipuram pure silk saree in a radiant expanse where sunset’s finest hues come alive in breathtaking dual-shade harmony. The saree unfolds as a kaleidoscope of vibrant colour, with fiery orange melting seamlessly into warm rose and glowing pinks, casting an ethereal brilliance reminiscent of a serene evening sky. Crafted from the finest mulberry silk and pure zari, Sauravi is poetry woven in silk, enveloping you in grace, rarity, and quiet magnificence that leaves an impression of everlasting elegance.

The Enchanting Udal (Saree Body):
The body glows with delicate "menakari floral buttas  (four-directional floral clusters) woven entirely in pure zari and kissed with tiny green disc florets". Arranged in a half-repeat pattern, these motifs sparkle like floral stars scattered across the sunset-drenched harmony of fiery orange and warm rose, creating a celestial charm with every gentle movement of the drape.

The Majestic Karai (Saree Borders):
Both edges of Sauravi are framed with scintillating 3-inch Ekam pure zari borders, masterfully woven to captivate. The borders feature "fine Benaras lines (diagonal patterns) enclosed within sequential Rudraksham buttas", aligned in rhythmic harmony. These are further embraced by graceful "Thandavalam lines", enriching the depth and divine balance of the design. The top edge is adorned with dainty "Arai Podigi (small triangles)", while the bottom gleams with enchanting glowing "rose–pink selvedges", completing the border with irresistible allure.

The Resplendent Mundhani / Thalaippu (Saree Pallu):
The pallu unfurls like a glowing realm of divinity, shimmering in pure zari over the luminous fiery orange - warm rose dual shade. A sequence of horizontal bands stretches across its length - the focal band intricately woven with majestic "Annapakshi motifs and stately elephants, alternating with flowing floral-paisley vines". These motifs sit within "enclosed Rudraksham butta panels enriched with graceful crescent-like strokes", adding refined lyrical beauty. A divided field emerges like a celestial garden, blooming with "diamond-shaped floral clusters encased within an intricate diamond lattice". The composition is further distinguished with glistening "muthu butta strips framed by kayaru lines", while elegant "leaf anklets" flank the pallu along with "slender zari lines" that border the entire design in sublime radiance. Every inch gleams with devotion, heritage, and artisanal mastery.

The Elegant Blouse:
Completing this resplendent creation is an unstitched orange–rose dual-tone pure silk blouse, finely adorned with the matching pure zari border to echo the saree’s grace.

COTTON CARE

• It is advisable to only dry-clean our Sarees. Use mild detergent to hand wash Cotton Sarees.

WASH, DRY & IRON PURE SILK THE RIGHT WAY

• For first three washes, dry cleaning is advisable for silk fabrics.
• If ever silk is washed in water, ensure it is washed in soft lukewarm water using a good neutral soap only.
• Squeeze lightly by hand to remove water after washing.
• Always dry the silk in shade only on a flat surface instead of hanging.
• Use low to medium heat while ironing.
• Always iron silk on the reverse side.
• Never spray water to dampen silk before ironing as it may cause water spots on the fabric.
• Do not wash the stains with water, instead give it for dry cleaning.

STORE PURE SILKS THE RIGHT WAY

• Store your Silk in a clean and dry environment using Cotton bags; avoid plastic covers.
• Avoid direct contact with wood.
• Protect silk from insects, dust, excessive moisture and light.
• Periodically (every 3-6 months) expose silks to fresh air and store after reversing the folds.
• Wrap Silk Sarees in cotton cloth or brown paper to avoid blackening of zari.
• Instead of Naphthalene balls, keep silica gel sachets in storage racks.
