A symphony of tradition and elegance, Lishika, our handloom Dual Shade Kanchi silk cotton saree where vivid color meets vintage soul. Draped in a radiant interplay of purple and green, this saree gleams with an iridescent sheen, like twilight catching the edges of a dream. Handwoven from the finest mulberry silk and premium cotton, Lishika is feather-light in feel, with an ethereal drape that glides like poetry in motion. Infused with rich metallic gold zari, Lishika is an heirloom made for festive moments and moonlit soirees, where memories are made timeless.

Saree Body:
The body of the saree unfurls like a celestial scroll, a canvas of glowing horizontal zari lines that shimmer with symmetry. "Undulating wavy motifs" ripple across the weave, dancing beside ornate "chevrons and diamond patterns" each woven in radiant gold, glowing brilliantly against purple-green based. Each motif catches the light in a hypnotic rhythm, transforming the saree into a living mosaic of light, texture, and tradition.

Saree Borders:
Encased in vivid 3-inch red contrast borders, Lishika is steeped in mythical grace. Majestic "Twin Gajayazhi motifs," guardians of ancient lore, stride beside delicate half-circle festoons. These are embraced by intricate “coin butta bands,” bordered with fine “kayaru butta lines,” and adorned with “Paneer Sombu motifs” lending a delicate anklet-like charm. The red selvedge adds a final whisper of divine elegance.

Saree Pallu:
The essence of Lishika comes alive most vividly in its pallu - a canvas of opulence woven entirely in gleaming metallic gold zari. It unfolds in majestic segments, each narrating its own tale. One segment blossoms with delicate "floral-leaf vines", gracefully entwined within "kayaru butta lines", bordered by the tender charm of "Thuthiripoo motifs", and grounded in the rhythm of "Veldhari lines".

Another dazzles with a stately parade of “Annapakshi motifs” enclosed in "ornate, scalloped cinquefoil arches", interspersed by “diamond patterns,” “kamalam butta,” and elegant “chevrons” set amidst regal “oriental arch pillars.” The entire display rests within rich “Rudraksham” and “kayaru butta” borders. A "diagonal weave (Benaras lines)" adds depth and motion to the field, enhanced further with "temple tower motifs". Completing this opulent vision are the bold "Gajayazhi bands", echoing the strength and splendor of the borders.

Saree Blouse:
Paired with an unstitched silk-cotton blouse in complementary shades of purple and green, accented with shimmering metallic gold zari borders that mirror the saree’s regal edges.

COTTON CARE

• It is advisable to only dry-clean our Sarees. Use mild detergent to hand wash Cotton Sarees.

WASH, DRY & IRON PURE SILK THE RIGHT WAY

• For first three washes, dry cleaning is advisable for silk fabrics.
• If ever silk is washed in water, ensure it is washed in soft lukewarm water using a good neutral soap only.
• Squeeze lightly by hand to remove water after washing.
• Always dry the silk in shade only on a flat surface instead of hanging.
• Use low to medium heat while ironing.
• Always iron silk on the reverse side.
• Never spray water to dampen silk before ironing as it may cause water spots on the fabric.
• Do not wash the stains with water, instead give it for dry cleaning.

STORE PURE SILKS THE RIGHT WAY

• Store your Silk in a clean and dry environment using Cotton bags; avoid plastic covers.
• Avoid direct contact with wood.
• Protect silk from insects, dust, excessive moisture and light.
• Periodically (every 3-6 months) expose silks to fresh air and store after reversing the folds.
• Wrap Silk Sarees in cotton cloth or brown paper to avoid blackening of zari.
• Instead of Naphthalene balls, keep silica gel sachets in storage racks.
