When you long for the grace of tradition without the weight of a full pattu weave, our Kanchi Silk Cottons with metallic gold zari offer the perfect balance. Meet Charvi, our handloom Vaira Oosi Kanchi Silk Cotton saree that brings Kanchipuram’s legendary craftsmanship into a lighter and more contemporary form. Woven from pure mulberry silk and fine cotton, and touched with shimmering metallic gold zari, Charvi comes alive in a radiant metallic orange that speaks of quiet luxury and refined elegance. Let it drape you in tradition, reimagined to feel light, luminous and effortlessly timeless.

Saree Body: A vision in metallic orange, the saree shimmers with finely woven "horizontal Vaira Oosi stripes in metallic gold zari". These delicate lines add a subtle glint, creating a luminous surface that plays with light at every turn.

Saree Border: Lending regal contrast, the borders on either side arrive in a majestic eminence purple, showcasing the traditional "Retta Peetu weave". Adorned with rows of "Rudraksham buttas" in red-orange color, nestled within enclosed "chevron patterns", the border is further accentuated by the elegance of "Muthu Seer" in shimmering gold zari. At the seamless merge between body and border, "pearly purple Moplah segments glisten with zari-lined Muthu Seer" and delicate "leaf anklet motifs", heightening the intricate beauty of the saree.

Saree Pallu: The pallu is an enchanting tapestry in itself. Woven in perfect harmony using metallic gold zari and red-orange threads, it balances vibrance and poise. It features a medley of recurring bands – from "Kuyil Kann motifs framed in gold zari chevron patterns", to bands of "Rudraksham and Kamalam buttas" placed in rhythmic sequence. Another section is brought alive with graceful "elephants and peacocks in a flowing Kodi Visiri layout", followed by "petite Pavunu Pet motifs nestled in golden chevron bands". The central field is woven with intricate "nested diamond patterns", flanked on both sides by elegant "Paneer Sombu motifs" in pure gold zari, a detailing that sets this pallu apart.

Saree Blouse: Completing this masterpiece is an unstitched blouse in matching metallic orange, framed with borders that echo the saree’s grand design.

COTTON CARE

• It is advisable to only dry-clean our Sarees. Use mild detergent to hand wash Cotton Sarees.

WASH, DRY & IRON PURE SILK THE RIGHT WAY

• For first three washes, dry cleaning is advisable for silk fabrics.
• If ever silk is washed in water, ensure it is washed in soft lukewarm water using a good neutral soap only.
• Squeeze lightly by hand to remove water after washing.
• Always dry the silk in shade only on a flat surface instead of hanging.
• Use low to medium heat while ironing.
• Always iron silk on the reverse side.
• Never spray water to dampen silk before ironing as it may cause water spots on the fabric.
• Do not wash the stains with water, instead give it for dry cleaning.

STORE PURE SILKS THE RIGHT WAY

• Store your Silk in a clean and dry environment using Cotton bags; avoid plastic covers.
• Avoid direct contact with wood.
• Protect silk from insects, dust, excessive moisture and light.
• Periodically (every 3-6 months) expose silks to fresh air and store after reversing the folds.
• Wrap Silk Sarees in cotton cloth or brown paper to avoid blackening of zari.
• Instead of Naphthalene balls, keep silica gel sachets in storage racks.
