Stunning all over, Arunaya, our Handloom Kanchipuram Pure Silk Saree, glows in dual shades of pink and orange - soulful hues that mirror the tender awakening of sunrise and the tranquil grace of sunset. Woven from the finest mulberry silk and enriched with pure zari, this drape is a luminous ode to divine radiance and mythical guardianship - where the brilliance of dawn is eternally protected by the valour of the Yazhi. A creation destined to become a cherished heirloom in your collection.

The Enchanting Udal (Saree Body):
A visual poem in silk, the body is adorned with "leaping Gaja-Simha Yazhi motifs (the mythical guardian with the might of an elephant and the valor of a lion)", symbolising power, protection, and divinity. Each motif, rendered in pure zari and set in a half-repeat pattern, shimmers like radiant sentinels across the luminous silk expanse, alive with the tender tones of sunset.

The Majestic Karai (Saree Borders):
The "6.75-inch Ner Korvai borders" on both edges, in a refined rich purple hue, are adorned with "slender zari lines". Subtle yet elegant, they frame the saree beautifully, balancing its glowing body with poised sophistication.

The Resplendent Mundhani / Thalaippu (Saree Pallu):
The contrasting rich purple pallu unfolds like a tapestry of myth and imagination. Recurrent zari bands dance with "Mayil (peacock)" and "Pegasus (winged horse) motifs" in alternates, gracefully divided by "chevron pillars encased in kayaru butta lines". The central field gleams with horizontally aligned ornate "Gaja-Simha Yazhi", echoing tales of strength and grace. Along its edge, delicate "leaf anklets" form a finishing garland - a poetic culmination to this woven symphony.

The Elegant Blouse:
Completing the ensemble is a plain rich purple blouse, subtly adorned with slender zari lines. Minimal yet elegant, it perfectly complements the grandeur of the saree.

COTTON CARE

• It is advisable to only dry-clean our Sarees. Use mild detergent to hand wash Cotton Sarees.

WASH, DRY & IRON PURE SILK THE RIGHT WAY

• For first three washes, dry cleaning is advisable for silk fabrics.
• If ever silk is washed in water, ensure it is washed in soft lukewarm water using a good neutral soap only.
• Squeeze lightly by hand to remove water after washing.
• Always dry the silk in shade only on a flat surface instead of hanging.
• Use low to medium heat while ironing.
• Always iron silk on the reverse side.
• Never spray water to dampen silk before ironing as it may cause water spots on the fabric.
• Do not wash the stains with water, instead give it for dry cleaning.

STORE PURE SILKS THE RIGHT WAY

• Store your Silk in a clean and dry environment using Cotton bags; avoid plastic covers.
• Avoid direct contact with wood.
• Protect silk from insects, dust, excessive moisture and light.
• Periodically (every 3-6 months) expose silks to fresh air and store after reversing the folds.
• Wrap Silk Sarees in cotton cloth or brown paper to avoid blackening of zari.
• Instead of Naphthalene balls, keep silica gel sachets in storage racks.
