Unique, mesmerising, and auspicious, Arohini, our exquisite handloom borderless Kanchipuram pure silk saree in radiant goldenrod yellow, is crafted to illuminate every special occasion. Woven from the finest pure mulberry silk and pure zari, this drape exudes richness, elegance, and divine charm.

The Enchanting Udal (Saree Body):
The saree body is adorned with densely woven, vertically aligned "kili (parrot) motifs" arranged in an enchanting incremental order - a refined rising-motif layout. One column features brilliant silver-zari parrots, followed by the next in luminous gold zari. This alternating sequence on a goldenrod-yellow base creates a richly textured, opulent surface that captures light beautifully, making the body truly one-of-a-kind.

The Resplendent Mundhani / Thalaippu (Saree Pallu):
The purple-red pallu glows with auspicious gold zari and features two recurring horizontal bands, each presenting the same majestic arrangement of motifs. Every band pairs an ornate "Annapakshi motifs with an exquisite quadtych panel - the first carrying a peacock motif, the second a Thazhamboo rekku motif divided with a coin-butta pillar, followed by two elephant motifs separated with bold chevron pillars". This entire pair is "divided with Rudraksham pillars", imparting sacred depth and architectural symmetry to the layout. The divided field then unfolds into a dense, shimmering golden garden of "kamalam buttas arranged in an opulent diamond lattice", glowing with pure zari brilliance. These bands are further beautifully distinguished with "kodi-visiri adorned segments encased within fine Kayaru-butta lines". The entire composition is gracefully flanked by "paisley anklets", while "slender zari lines" frame the pallu with a touch of divine elegance.

The Elegant Blouse:
The saree comes with a contrast purple-red unstitched blouse, beautifully woven with "Chatur-Pushpa Medallion Buttas (petite square floral motifs featuring a central bloom and four corner flowers arranged in a plus formation)" laid out in a graceful half-repeat pattern using pure zari. This refined detailing forms an elegant complement to the vibrant body and the grand pallu.

COTTON CARE

• It is advisable to only dry-clean our Sarees. Use mild detergent to hand wash Cotton Sarees.

WASH, DRY & IRON PURE SILK THE RIGHT WAY

• For first three washes, dry cleaning is advisable for silk fabrics.
• If ever silk is washed in water, ensure it is washed in soft lukewarm water using a good neutral soap only.
• Squeeze lightly by hand to remove water after washing.
• Always dry the silk in shade only on a flat surface instead of hanging.
• Use low to medium heat while ironing.
• Always iron silk on the reverse side.
• Never spray water to dampen silk before ironing as it may cause water spots on the fabric.
• Do not wash the stains with water, instead give it for dry cleaning.

STORE PURE SILKS THE RIGHT WAY

• Store your Silk in a clean and dry environment using Cotton bags; avoid plastic covers.
• Avoid direct contact with wood.
• Protect silk from insects, dust, excessive moisture and light.
• Periodically (every 3-6 months) expose silks to fresh air and store after reversing the folds.
• Wrap Silk Sarees in cotton cloth or brown paper to avoid blackening of zari.
• Instead of Naphthalene balls, keep silica gel sachets in storage racks.
