Unique and mesmerizing, Aranya, our handloom Kanchipuram pure silk saree in a glowing dual tone of watermelon pink and orange reminiscent of a serene sunset, is truly celestial. Woven from pure mulberry silk and pure zari, this exquisite drape becomes your luxurious companion for guest weddings and treasured celebrations where grace and grandeur must meet.

The Enchanting Udal (Saree Body):
The body radiates with a soft watermelon pink–orange luminosity, its dual-tone surface shifting like a quiet dusk sky settling over the horizon. This gentle glow forms the perfect canvas for the splendour of its borders, infusing warmth and fluidity into every fold.

The Majestic Karai (Saree Borders):
Both the top and bottom edges are adorned with a refined 4.5-inch pure zari border, intricately woven with nested "vaira (diamond) motifs" and finished with a contrasting "purple iris selvedge" that lends a subtle, enchanting accent. At the bottom, this Vaira border is elevated by an additional 10-inch Vanasingaram panel, together creating the grand visual presence of a "Periya Vanasingaram Pettu" Border. This expansive panel unveils a breathtaking Vanasingaram tableau - an intricate sylvan narrative of forest creatures and entwined creepers, where ornate paisleys (manga), intertwine gracefully as peacocks (mayil), deers (maan), horses (kuthirai), elephants (yanai), and lions (simham) roam in radiant harmony. The interplay of shimmering pure zari motifs set against the dual-tone silk bestows the saree with a majestic knee-length border aesthetic, rich in storytelling, artistry, and poetic grandeur.

The Resplendent Mundhani / Thalaippu (Saree Pallu):
The pallu is a celestial composition rendered entirely in pure zari. It features recurring horizontal bands - one presenting sizeable, ornate "Annapakshi motifs", and the other showcasing "majestic Gaja-Yazhi motifs", each segment divided by elegant "chevron pillars". The inner field is adorned with neat columns of "Arai Madam buttas", adding structure and rhythm. Every band is further distinguished with "Rudraksham butta strips encased in kayaru lines", enhancing its divine intricacy. Completing the splendour, the pallu is flanked with graceful "leaf anklets", lending a charming, organic finish.

The Elegant Blouse:
The contrasting purple iris blouse is adorned with radiant gold zari "Vaira Thodar Buttas (delicate diamond motifs placed one after the other in half-repeat)", resembling stylised stars scattered across a twilight expanse. It forms the perfect complement to Aranya’s sunset brilliance.

COTTON CARE

• It is advisable to only dry-clean our Sarees. Use mild detergent to hand wash Cotton Sarees.

WASH, DRY & IRON PURE SILK THE RIGHT WAY

• For first three washes, dry cleaning is advisable for silk fabrics.
• If ever silk is washed in water, ensure it is washed in soft lukewarm water using a good neutral soap only.
• Squeeze lightly by hand to remove water after washing.
• Always dry the silk in shade only on a flat surface instead of hanging.
• Use low to medium heat while ironing.
• Always iron silk on the reverse side.
• Never spray water to dampen silk before ironing as it may cause water spots on the fabric.
• Do not wash the stains with water, instead give it for dry cleaning.

STORE PURE SILKS THE RIGHT WAY

• Store your Silk in a clean and dry environment using Cotton bags; avoid plastic covers.
• Avoid direct contact with wood.
• Protect silk from insects, dust, excessive moisture and light.
• Periodically (every 3-6 months) expose silks to fresh air and store after reversing the folds.
• Wrap Silk Sarees in cotton cloth or brown paper to avoid blackening of zari.
• Instead of Naphthalene balls, keep silica gel sachets in storage racks.
