Step into the enchanting world of Nihira, where tradition meets modern elegance in a dance of cultural richness. This exquisite handloom Kanchi Cotton Saree, in a light chocolate cosmos hue, weaves tales of heritage and artistry that will leave you captivated. As you drape yourself in Nihira, you embark on a journey where every fold narrates the fusion of craftsmanship, telling stories of balance, harmony, and cultural significance.

Crafted from high-quality cotton, Nihira stands as a unique addition to your formal wear wardrobe. The fusion of Kanchipuram and Bomkai (Odisha Craft) is a celebration of timeless beauty. The prevalence of geometrical motifs on Nihira is not merely an aesthetic choice; it is a reflection of cultural values and beliefs. The precision in the geometric patterns imparts a distinctive and enduring quality to the saree, making it not just a fashion statement but a cultural emblem.

Saree Body:
The body of the saree is adorned with petite "Barpali (Diamond Pattern) motifs", intricately woven using a cross-stitch pattern in fire brick red and old lace colors. The elegance of these motifs is unparalleled, creating a visual poetry that resonates with sophistication.

Saree Border:
Moving to the borders, simplicity meets elegance with plain old lace borders enriched with a chain of intricate geometric precision – "Phoda Kumbha (Temple Motif with Flames)". This temple motif, also known as "Thazhampoo Reku" in Kanchipuram craft, is graced with yellow "diamonds" and flanked by fire brick red color "selvedge", accentuating the drape with a structured and aesthetically pleasing design.

Saree Pallu:
The pièce de résistance lies in the beautifully aligned pallu, a canvas woven with recurrent bands of geometric motifs. "Mayur motifs (depicting peacocks in geometric arrangements)", symbolic "Kotki (Triangle motifs portraying life's dynamic nature)", and "Dongria tribal motifs (echoing the heritage of the Niyamgiri hills' indigenous tribes)" come together in a harmonious blend of red, cream, and orange-yellow threads. Each motif is a homage to Odisha's tribal culture, a celebration of nature's harmony, etched into the saree of tradition.

Saree Blouse:
Comes with an unstitched blouse in the same light chocolate cosmos color, featuring a border that mirrors the saree's exquisite design.

Measurements: 6.2mts (including blouse)

COTTON CARE

• It is advisable to only dry-clean our Sarees. Use mild detergent to hand wash Cotton Sarees.

WASH, DRY & IRON PURE SILK THE RIGHT WAY

• For first three washes, dry cleaning is advisable for silk fabrics.
• If ever silk is washed in water, ensure it is washed in soft lukewarm water using a good neutral soap only.
• Squeeze lightly by hand to remove water after washing.
• Always dry the silk in shade only on a flat surface instead of hanging.
• Use low to medium heat while ironing.
• Always iron silk on the reverse side.
• Never spray water to dampen silk before ironing as it may cause water spots on the fabric.
• Do not wash the stains with water, instead give it for dry cleaning.

STORE PURE SILKS THE RIGHT WAY

• Store your Silk in a clean and dry environment using Cotton bags; avoid plastic covers.
• Avoid direct contact with wood.
• Protect silk from insects, dust, excessive moisture and light.
• Periodically (every 3-6 months) expose silks to fresh air and store after reversing the folds.
• Wrap Silk Sarees in cotton cloth or brown paper to avoid blackening of zari.
• Instead of Naphthalene balls, keep silica gel sachets in storage racks.
