Embrace the radiant warmth of Nisarga, a handloom Kanchi cotton saree that wraps you in resplendent golden yellow hues adorned with multi-colored motifs. Paying homage to the artistic legacy of the Dongria Kondh tribes from the Niyamgiri hills of Odisha, this saree weaves a tale of cultural richness and artistic finesse. Crafted from high-quality cotton, the intricate motifs draw inspiration from the geometric patterns of KapdaGanda, the vibrant embroidered shawl that echoes the profound connection to cultural values. The weaves, though complex, are a testament to the beauty created by skilled hands, uniting two textile crafts seamlessly. Subtle yet rich, this saree is perfect for both casual and formal occasions, designed & curated for women who cherish the artistry of textile crafts.

Saree Body:
The saree body features vertically aligned multi-color "Quatrefoil flora buttas", interlinked with "Chain buttas (called Hippa Dongaria kondh art)". Edged with "Triangle motifs (Kandwa)" in navy blue, dark raspberry pink, and lemon green colors, these patterns artfully depict the majestic Dongars (hills), exuding an aura elegance.

Saree Border:
The border of the saree is a canvas of vivid multi-colored recurrent bands, featuring "Diagonal weave (called Benaras butta in Kanchipuram craft)" bands in dark raspberry pink and "Plain weave bands" in yellow-green color, divided by a "Chevron-patterned band" in navy blue, (called Keri in Dongaria kondh art - representing the cultivation of food grains). The entire pattern is adorned with petite "Jadai nagam motifs enclosed in Muthu Seer" in dark raspberry pink, adding a graceful touch that reflects the cultural and natural surroundings.

Saree Pallu:
The saree pallu gracefully replicates the border pattern, flanked by "Triangular shapes" that embody the rich heritage of Dongria Kondh tribes of Niyamgiri. This spellbinding creation spells feminine grace and ethnic flair, inviting you to drape yourself in the cultural tapestry of tradition and craftsmanship.

Saree Blouse:
Accompanied by an unstitched blouse in the same enchanting golden yellow hue, featuring a subtle design mirroring the saree border, ensuring a seamless and harmonious ensemble.

Measurements: 6.2mts (including blouse)

COTTON CARE

• It is advisable to only dry-clean our Sarees. Use mild detergent to hand wash Cotton Sarees.

WASH, DRY & IRON PURE SILK THE RIGHT WAY

• For first three washes, dry cleaning is advisable for silk fabrics.
• If ever silk is washed in water, ensure it is washed in soft lukewarm water using a good neutral soap only.
• Squeeze lightly by hand to remove water after washing.
• Always dry the silk in shade only on a flat surface instead of hanging.
• Use low to medium heat while ironing.
• Always iron silk on the reverse side.
• Never spray water to dampen silk before ironing as it may cause water spots on the fabric.
• Do not wash the stains with water, instead give it for dry cleaning.

STORE PURE SILKS THE RIGHT WAY

• Store your Silk in a clean and dry environment using Cotton bags; avoid plastic covers.
• Avoid direct contact with wood.
• Protect silk from insects, dust, excessive moisture and light.
• Periodically (every 3-6 months) expose silks to fresh air and store after reversing the folds.
• Wrap Silk Sarees in cotton cloth or brown paper to avoid blackening of zari.
• Instead of Naphthalene balls, keep silica gel sachets in storage racks.
