Shyama - Handloom Vaira Oosi Kanchipuram Pure Silk Saree (Authentic Pure Zari & Silk Mark Certified)
Step into a world of timeless elegance with Shyama, our Vaira Oosi Kanchipuram Pure Silk Saree in a deep twilight purple hue. Woven from pure mulberry silk and adorned with pure zari, Shyama is heritage rendered in silk - a canvas of devotion, craftsmanship, and tradition. It is a treasured heirloom, a celebration of artistry, and a graceful companion for all the occasions where luxury is meant to be felt, lived, and cherished.
The Enchanting Udal (Saree Body): The deep twilight-purple silk base glows with refined richness, illuminated by the subtle shimmer of "Vaira Oosi stripes" in pure zari. Across this lustrous canvas, "Kamalam buttas" are arranged in a half-repeat pattern, blooming like radiant golden lotus petals. With every movement, the body of the saree comes alive with a divine, glistening cadence.
The Majestic Karai (Saree Borders): The elegance flows into the "3-inch Ner Korvai borders", woven in a regal rich plum and embellished with opulent pure zari motifs that frame the saree with striking precision. The medium band features the intricate "Kuyil Kann motifs (diamond motifs without a central dot)", while the smaller band alternates between graceful "Annapakshi and dignified elephant motifs, divided by miniature pillars adorned with "coin buttas". These ornamental layers are gracefully segmented by "Muthu Seer lines", and the upper egde is flanked with "leaf anklets". Completing this magnificent frame is the vibrant "mango-tango selvedge", adding a bold, traditional burst of contrast.
The Resplendent Mundhani / Thalaippu (Saree Pallu): The contrast rich plum pallu unfurls like a divine tapestry. Woven entirely in pure zari, it shimmers like liquid gold with lotus flower motifs scattered across. The pallu showcases recurrent bands - one lined with horizontally aligned "peacock motifs", the other with ornate "elephant motifs" separated by "Kayaru lines". These are encased within "Kamalam buttas strips, framed by Kayaru and Neli lines", creating an exquisite layering effect. At its heart lies the pallu’s crowning jewel: a divided field embellished with "Meenakari Kamalam buttas featuring green disc florets", tightly packed and arranged in a half repeat pattern - rare, intricate, and exceptionally captivating. The entire composition is elegantly flanked with "leaf anklets", adding a divine finishing touch to this resplendent composition.
The Elegant Blouse: The contrast rich-plum color blouse completes the ensemble in effortless harmony. Adorned with pure zari "Vaira Oosi stripes" and a matching "pure zari border", it echoes every note of the saree’s sophistication and grandeur.

COTTON CARE
• It is advisable to only dry-clean our Sarees. Use mild detergent to hand wash Cotton Sarees.
WASH, DRY & IRON PURE SILK THE RIGHT WAY
• For first three washes, dry cleaning is advisable for silk fabrics.
• If ever silk is washed in water, ensure it is washed in soft lukewarm water using a good neutral soap only.
• Squeeze lightly by hand to remove water after washing.
• Always dry the silk in shade only on a flat surface instead of hanging.
• Use low to medium heat while ironing.
• Always iron silk on the reverse side.
• Never spray water to dampen silk before ironing as it may cause water spots on the fabric.
• Do not wash the stains with water, instead give it for dry cleaning.
STORE PURE SILKS THE RIGHT WAY
• Store your Silk in a clean and dry environment using Cotton bags; avoid plastic covers.
• Avoid direct contact with wood.
• Protect silk from insects, dust, excessive moisture and light.
• Periodically (every 3-6 months) expose silks to fresh air and store after reversing the folds.
• Wrap Silk Sarees in cotton cloth or brown paper to avoid blackening of zari.
• Instead of Naphthalene balls, keep silica gel sachets in storage racks.
