Gauri - Handloom Kanchipuram Pure Silk Saree (Authentic Pure Zari & Silk Mark Certified)
Traditional and alluring, Gauri, our handloom Kanchipuram Pure Silk Saree in a divine mango yellow hue, is a symbol of auspicious elegance. Woven meticulously from Pure Mulberry Silk and Pure Zari, this masterpiece celebrates divine grace and timeless heritage. An heirloom treasure, it is the perfect choice for weddings, festivities and every sacred celebration of life.
The Enchanting Udal (Saree Body): The body glows in mango yellow, adorned with sumptuous "peacock and paisley motifs" in pure gold zari, arranged in a striking half-repeat pattern. The interplay of subtlety and sparkle lends it a poised yet captivating aura.
The Majestic Karai (Saree Borders): Richly crafted "4.5-inch Ner Korvai borders" on both ends in deep purple elevate the grandeur of the saree. The first band showcases alternating "Anna Pakshi and Gaja Yazhi motifs divided by paisley vines", while the second band is exquisitely woven with "Kuyil Kann (diamond) motifs". Both bands are enclosed within delicate strips embellished with "petite paisleys (manga buttas)" for added intricacy. These ornamental zones are rhythmically structured with "Muthu Seer lines". The composition is crowned with refined "leaf-anklet patterns" on the top edge, while a "vibrant orange selvedge" at the base creates a striking contrast.
The Resplendent Mundhani / Thalaippu (Saree Pallu): The contrasting purple pallu glimmers like molten gold, magnificent in its detailing. Recurrent rows of "ornate Anna Pakshi motifs" unfold in sequence, complemented by a parallel band of "regal Gaja Yazhi motifs". These are enclosed within "Pavunupet motif strips", adding further splendor. The central pallu field is embellished with a subtle "Banaras lines (diagonal weave)". The entire layout is thoughtfully divided using "Muthu Seer lines" and finally flanked by "leaf anklet motifs", resulting in a divinely opulent finish.
The Elegant Blouse: The saree comes with a plain purple blouse, complemented by a matching gold zari border replicating the beauty of the saree’s borders.

COTTON CARE
• It is advisable to only dry-clean our Sarees. Use mild detergent to hand wash Cotton Sarees.
WASH, DRY & IRON PURE SILK THE RIGHT WAY
• For first three washes, dry cleaning is advisable for silk fabrics.
• If ever silk is washed in water, ensure it is washed in soft lukewarm water using a good neutral soap only.
• Squeeze lightly by hand to remove water after washing.
• Always dry the silk in shade only on a flat surface instead of hanging.
• Use low to medium heat while ironing.
• Always iron silk on the reverse side.
• Never spray water to dampen silk before ironing as it may cause water spots on the fabric.
• Do not wash the stains with water, instead give it for dry cleaning.
STORE PURE SILKS THE RIGHT WAY
• Store your Silk in a clean and dry environment using Cotton bags; avoid plastic covers.
• Avoid direct contact with wood.
• Protect silk from insects, dust, excessive moisture and light.
• Periodically (every 3-6 months) expose silks to fresh air and store after reversing the folds.
• Wrap Silk Sarees in cotton cloth or brown paper to avoid blackening of zari.
• Instead of Naphthalene balls, keep silica gel sachets in storage racks.
