Elegant and enriching, Brinda, our handloom Kanchipuram pure silk saree, drapes you in a luminous grass-green glow, where the purity of silk meets the divine radiance of pure gold zari. Woven in the sacred looms of Kanchipuram, it carries whispers of tradition and blessings of prosperity. Each fold glimmers with celestial charm and timeless artistry, wrapping you in an aura of poise, beauty, and grace.

The Enchanting Udal (Saree Body):
The body glistens like scattered stardust on emerald silk. "Petite mayil (peacock) and kamalam (lotus) motifs" woven with gold zari in a half-repeat pattern dance playfully across the drape, creating a delicate yet striking radiance that comes alive with movement.

The Majestic Karai (Saree Borders):
The "3.5-inch Ner Korvai contrast borders" in enchanting navy blue are mesmerizing, illuminated with pure zari. "Regal Gandaberunda motifs" appear in a graceful sequence within enclosed ornamental bands, enriched further with temple-inspired "Vanki motifs" and auspicious "Rudraksham buttas". The borders are refined with elegant "muthuseer lines", framed at the top by "leaf anklets", and elevated by a lively "magenta-pink selvage" that adds a spirited finishing note.

The Resplendent Mundhani / Thalaippu (Saree Pallu):
A scintillating symphony unfolds on the pallu, lavishly woven in gold zari over a deep navy-blue base. The composition features recurring ornamental bands: "first, a delicate band where petite mayil, chakram, and diamond motifs alternate in rhythmic alignment divided by kayuru-butta lines"; followed by a "grander band showcasing Gaja-Annam Yazhi figures embellished with fluid paisley-vine flourishes". The layout is "bordered by petite paisley buttas and button buttas", while the "divided pallu field reveals alternating columns of Vanki patterns, Benaras lines, mayil-kann motifs, and chevron arrows". Each segment is gracefully "partitioned with muthuseer lines and flanked by leaf anklets", creating a composition rich in divine heritage and artistic finesse.

The Elegant Blouse:
Paired with a classic plain navy-blue blouse featuring a zari border that echoes the saree’s elegance, it completes the ensemble with understated sophistication.

COTTON CARE

• It is advisable to only dry-clean our Sarees. Use mild detergent to hand wash Cotton Sarees.

WASH, DRY & IRON PURE SILK THE RIGHT WAY

• For first three washes, dry cleaning is advisable for silk fabrics.
• If ever silk is washed in water, ensure it is washed in soft lukewarm water using a good neutral soap only.
• Squeeze lightly by hand to remove water after washing.
• Always dry the silk in shade only on a flat surface instead of hanging.
• Use low to medium heat while ironing.
• Always iron silk on the reverse side.
• Never spray water to dampen silk before ironing as it may cause water spots on the fabric.
• Do not wash the stains with water, instead give it for dry cleaning.

STORE PURE SILKS THE RIGHT WAY

• Store your Silk in a clean and dry environment using Cotton bags; avoid plastic covers.
• Avoid direct contact with wood.
• Protect silk from insects, dust, excessive moisture and light.
• Periodically (every 3-6 months) expose silks to fresh air and store after reversing the folds.
• Wrap Silk Sarees in cotton cloth or brown paper to avoid blackening of zari.
• Instead of Naphthalene balls, keep silica gel sachets in storage racks.
