If you are drawn to the charm of tradition but prefer something lighter than a full pattu weave, Aaravi, our Dual Tone handloom Vaira Oosi Kanchi Silk Cotton Saree with metallic gold zari, offers the perfect blend. Woven with pure mulberry silk and fine cotton, and highlighted with shimmering metallic gold zari, Aaravi glows in rich shades of deep lilac and satin sheen gold. As the light moves, the saree reveals a gentle iridescence, shifting between the two tones in a play of quiet brilliance. It carries an air of quiet luxury and graceful elegance. Let it wrap you in tradition that feels light, radiant, and timeless.

Saree Body: A vision in metallic iridescent shades of deep lilac and satin sheen gold, the saree shimmers with finely woven "horizontal Vaira Oosi stripes in metallic gold zari". These subtle lines reflect light beautifully, creating a glowing surface that shifts and plays with every movement.

Saree Border: Bringing a touch of regal contrast, the borders on either side unfold in a rich blue violet, featuring the traditional Retta Peetu weave. They are embellished with rows of "Rudraksham buttas" in vivid red orange, set within enclosed "chevron patterns". The elegance of "Muthu Seer in shimmering gold zari" adds further refinement. At the fluid transition between the body and the border, persian indigo "Moplah segments shimmer with zari edged Muthu Seer" and delicate "leaf anklet motifs", enhancing the saree’s intricate and layered beauty.

Saree Pallu: The pallu is an enchanting tapestry in itself. Woven in perfect harmony using metallic gold zari and red-orange threads, it balances vibrance and poise. It features a medley of recurring bands – from "Kuyil Kann motifs framed in gold zari chevron patterns", to bands of "Rudraksham and Kamalam buttas" placed in rhythmic sequence. Another section is brought alive with graceful "elephants and peacocks in a flowing Kodi Visiri layout", followed by "petite Pavunu Pet motifs nestled in golden chevron bands". The central field is woven with intricate "nested diamond patterns", flanked on both sides by elegant "Paneer Sombu motifs" in pure gold zari, a detailing that sets this pallu apart.

Saree Blouse: Completing this masterpiece is an unstitched blouse in matching dual shades of deep lilac and satin sheen gold, framed with borders that echo the saree’s grand design.

COTTON CARE

• It is advisable to only dry-clean our Sarees. Use mild detergent to hand wash Cotton Sarees.

WASH, DRY & IRON PURE SILK THE RIGHT WAY

• For first three washes, dry cleaning is advisable for silk fabrics.
• If ever silk is washed in water, ensure it is washed in soft lukewarm water using a good neutral soap only.
• Squeeze lightly by hand to remove water after washing.
• Always dry the silk in shade only on a flat surface instead of hanging.
• Use low to medium heat while ironing.
• Always iron silk on the reverse side.
• Never spray water to dampen silk before ironing as it may cause water spots on the fabric.
• Do not wash the stains with water, instead give it for dry cleaning.

STORE PURE SILKS THE RIGHT WAY

• Store your Silk in a clean and dry environment using Cotton bags; avoid plastic covers.
• Avoid direct contact with wood.
• Protect silk from insects, dust, excessive moisture and light.
• Periodically (every 3-6 months) expose silks to fresh air and store after reversing the folds.
• Wrap Silk Sarees in cotton cloth or brown paper to avoid blackening of zari.
• Instead of Naphthalene balls, keep silica gel sachets in storage racks.
