Experience the epitome of regal grace with our Mahika, an exquisite handloom Lakshadeepam Kanchi Silk Cotton Saree, resplendent in a deep Violet hue. Envision yourself enveloped in its sumptuous texture, exuding elegance with every sway. Crafted from the finest blend of cotton and mulberry silk threads, adorned with the luminous gleam of metallic zari, this saree transcends into a masterpiece, inviting you to revel in its lavish feel and embrace the essence of true opulence. Perfect for those intimate gatherings where you seek to radiate royal sophistication.

Saree Body:
Adorning the saree's canvas are mesmerizing "petite buttas," meticulously arranged to symbolize lakshadeepam, amidst delicate "muthu kattam checks" in charming shades of ivory and orange. Each intricately woven motif enhances the celestial allure of the ensemble, weaving a captivating tapestry of color and design.

Saree Border:
The 6-inch border of the saree exudes timeless allure, featuring a rich “Retta Pett" in a deep violet-red hue, gracing the top and bottom edges. Adorned with exquisite gold zari bands showcasing “framed Peacock motifs with leafs” and "Gaja-yazhi motifs" interspersed with pillars and “Kuyil kan motifs (Cuckoo’s Eye Butta / diamond-patterned motifs)," nestled within enclosed "Veldhari Patterns," it exudes sheer elegance. A verdant dark green band, accentuated with "gold zari geometric lines" and embellished with "gold zari paisley anklets," gracefully culminates in a "medium dark shade of blue-magenta selvedge," adding a captivating finishing touch.

Saree Pallu:
The gold zari pallu gleams against a deep violet backdrop, mirroring the enchanting design of the border. Additional embellishments include bands of "leaping horses," interspersed with "paisley & rudraksham butta pillars" in gold zari, adding an extra layer of refinement. The divided pallu field in dark orange, adorned with "diamond motifs" and "deep Violet Temple tower motifs", infuses a touch of spirituality and allure into the drape. Dark Orange “Thuthiri poo motif” stripes contrast beautifully with the bands, while “Paisley anklets” enclose the pattern, adding a timeless elegance.

Saree blouse:
Accompanied by an unstitched Silk Cotton Blouse in a matching deep violet shade, adorned with a border mirroring that of the saree, ensuring a harmonious ensemble.

COTTON CARE

• It is advisable to only dry-clean our Sarees. Use mild detergent to hand wash Cotton Sarees.

WASH, DRY & IRON PURE SILK THE RIGHT WAY

• For first three washes, dry cleaning is advisable for silk fabrics.
• If ever silk is washed in water, ensure it is washed in soft lukewarm water using a good neutral soap only.
• Squeeze lightly by hand to remove water after washing.
• Always dry the silk in shade only on a flat surface instead of hanging.
• Use low to medium heat while ironing.
• Always iron silk on the reverse side.
• Never spray water to dampen silk before ironing as it may cause water spots on the fabric.
• Do not wash the stains with water, instead give it for dry cleaning.

STORE PURE SILKS THE RIGHT WAY

• Store your Silk in a clean and dry environment using Cotton bags; avoid plastic covers.
• Avoid direct contact with wood.
• Protect silk from insects, dust, excessive moisture and light.
• Periodically (every 3-6 months) expose silks to fresh air and store after reversing the folds.
• Wrap Silk Sarees in cotton cloth or brown paper to avoid blackening of zari.
• Instead of Naphthalene balls, keep silica gel sachets in storage racks.
